What is Overland Water, what is Sewer Back-up and what is Ground Water?
1. Overland water
The rapid and unexpected accumulation of fresh water over typically dry land, due to sudden and heavy rainfall, natural precipitation leading to rapid runoff or overflowing rivers, lakes, or streams.
2. Ground water
Water in the soil beneath the surface of the ground, including, but not limited to, water in wells, underground streams and percolating waters.
3. Sewer backup
The unexpected backing up or escape of water or waste from a plumbing system within the home.

All net proceeds from the sale and renewals of BC Parks plates will be re-invested back into provincial parks through the Parks Enhancement Fund.
These plates are available for an initial cost of $50 and an annual renewal fee of $40.
